  • Reduce energy consumption
  • Eliminate costly maintenance contracts
  • Eliminate small rags that clog screens
  • Keep wipes whole to allow bar screens to do there job

By simply plugging the Deragger II into any starter section you can completely eliminate blockages in your pumps without the need for channel macerators or chopper blades.

Most wipes pass through pumps, however when one wipe sticks the rest pile on and weave themselves into the traditional rag ball we are used to seeing. The Deragger II’s patented real time technology analyses the power waveforms your pump draws. The Deragger II detects that initial wipe that sticks. The Deragger II then perform a short reverse to free it off the impeller then pump it forward whole. By keeping it whole we allow the bar screens at the plant to work and capture these wipes.

Our vast experience of blockages and blockage types shows that macerators can make the blockage problem worse downstream. These devices tend to strip the wet wipes into strips like yarn. These strips then weave together in the eye of the pumps and create ropes that don’t trip the pumps but restrict the flow significantly. This gives the appearance that the pumps are running correctly.
